Each character in Tokyo Revengers is unique, and the cast is so extensive it covers almost all sixteen of the Myers-Briggs personality types. Tokyo Revengers took the anime world by storm upon its 2021 release. It follows the main character, Takemichi, as he travels back in time to reverse a series of tragic events, such as his high school girlfriend getting killed. Of course, this means he has to become the leader of one of the most intimidating gangs in the anime: the Tokyo Manji Gang. Each character in Tokyo Revengers is unique in their own right, and it’s fun to dissect their personalities. Of course, the cast is so extensive that it spans across almost all sixteen of the Myers-Briggs personality types.

Chifuyu Matsuno Is An INFP

INFPs are “Mediators.” They are one of the rarest personality types on the Myers-Briggs roster, and people of this personality type are quiet but have rich imaginations. INFPs are incredibly empathetic and can absorb the emotions of others around them. They are creative and passionate about everything they set their mind towards, even if it’s to their detriment.

Chifuyu Matsuno is the vice-captain of the Tokyo Manji Gang’s first division. Chifuyu is fiercely loyal and refuses to fight people he cares about, even if they throw the first punch. Chifuyu isn’t afraid to show his emotions and helps people out of the goodness of his heart. Despite being somewhat naive, Chifuyu hates those who underestimate others and stands up for anyone.

Takashi Mitsuya Is An INFJ

INFJs are “Advocates.” INFJs are creative and possess colorful imaginations. They will do everything in their power to help those they care about, offering insight and guidance along the way. They tend to hold their moral code close to them, and they do everything with utmost conviction. Though they can be reserved and hard to get close to at first, INFJs are probably some of the best friends to have.

Takashi Mitsuya is one of the founding members of the Tokyo Manji Gang. He is quite level-headed and sticks to his ideals of pacifism. He will do everything in his power to avoid conflict, but he’s not so naive as to not defend himself or those he cares about. Takashi is also responsible, and he cares for his two younger sisters while their mother is away at work.

Mikey Is An INTP

INTPs are “Logicians.” They are driven by their curiosity and seek to understand the cold hard truth in everything. At times, they can be blunt in their sincerity, but it’s for the greater good. However, they tend to become disconnected from others because they can get so lost in their thoughts. Obviously, they can be a bit insensitive to others, too.

Manjiro Sano, or Mikey, is the leader of the Tokyo Manji Gang. Though he’s friendly and easygoing outwardly, he can become ruthless as a commander. He never shows his weaknesses, and Mikey is arguably the strongest fighter in the whole anime. He cares about his friends, and he is a pillar of strength for the Tokyo Manji Gang.

Draken And Baji Are ESTPs

ESTPs are “Entrepreneurs.” They are natural leaders full of charisma, making it easy for people to be drawn to them. ESTPs seek to push the envelope and hate wasting time on any arbitrary subject matter. Though they are pretty intuitive, they squander no time psychoanalyzing things others say.

Draken is known for his unpredictable personality, and he thoroughly enjoys the thrill of fighting. Draken wastes no time on people who aren’t worth his time, and he makes it abundantly clear that he doesn’t think too highly of them. Despite this, he is pretty respectful and encourages people to do the right thing. Baji, on the other hand, is also wild. He’s another adrenaline junkie who loves the thrill of fighting. Baji is also smart enough to differentiate between his true allies and enemies.

Takemichi Hanagaki Is An ISFP

ISFPs are “Adventurers.” Though they are open-minded, they tend to deal with immense mental turmoil. Often, they doubt themselves and their abilities. Regardless, ISFPs are curious about the world and are in tune with the emotions of others. ISFPs want to divert any conflict, if possible. ISFPs are also very independent individuals.

Takemichi lost his way in life, leading his self-esteem to deteriorate into nothingness. He cries often and apologizes for things that aren’t too important in the grand scheme of things. However, he stopped being a coward as time progressed and could even guide other members of the gang back on the right path. Takemichi is known for saying the right thing to calm a conflict.

Hinata Tachibana Is An ESFJ

ESFJs are called the “Consuls.” People of this personality type tend to be quite popular and bring people together. They can bring practicality to tricky situations, and they are quite reliable. ESFJs seek out harmony in every case, and they want to make sure everybody’s voice is heard.

Hinata Tachibana is friendly and has a cheerful personality. She always does her best to make any predicament better for the people she cares about, and she’s a massive pillar of support for such people. Hinata is determined and will do anything possible to protect the people she cares about. Sometimes, she can be rather brash in her efforts, but she means well.
